Telstra Next G

I have been using Telstra Next G since October 2006 and I can honestly say that nothing has so fundamentally changed my life(style) this much since the advent of the Internet itself.

The freedom that I now enjoy includes maintaining web sites for my clients from almost anywhere in Australia using my fast Next G enabled notebook. Staying in touch with friends and collegues while out on the water and video calling mum to see how she is going.

Whether I am out on my boat in the Whitsundays, staying with friends, visiting my parents, or interstate for clients, one small bag of tricks and Telstra Next G keep me connected and fully functioning.

My equipment includes:
Toshiba U205 notebook: At just 1.5kg it goes everywhere with me
LG TU500 phone: I encourage friends to spend a bit more to get this quality handset

Below is my speed testing. ZDnet tests, show downloads in excess of 1Mbits are available throughout populated Australia (and some remote areas). I have consistently found a massive improvement in performance using an external antenna in remote areas.
