7:00pm, Mon 24 Mar 2008 :  Dinner with friends... But what's for dinner
After dusty dawn from a post night tussle with Vas Felix Semllion a brighter day awaited outside. News came from the port side of the Dot.Com that the suspected mouse on board might actually be mice.... The ensuing investigation found a map tube with a number of critters camped inside. Yike! Shaking the contents O B produced 4 mice and a rat now swimming for their lives. After some brisk attempts to find their way back on board, it can be reported that 2 are lost suspected drown and 3 (including the rat) died from concussion wounds. Traps remain set for more suspected invaders... and the score board awaits a higher tally.

So much for the others chores for the day.

With the weather smoothing out, the coming days look promising, with the crew from Cintech arrive Tuesday as we enjoying some adventure courtesy of assisting some very professional film makers.

Visitors for the day were Bob and "Thelly". Bob has Tranquility in the Charter Yachts Australia fleet. Its memories for both myself and recently arrived Tracey... We chartered "Trank" many years ago ... in the old days :-)

The end result for the day was an invitation to dinner which was a joy. The sun set on a lovely evening sky with photo ops, having a camp on the foredeck of "Trank". Wine, dinner and chatter completed the evening.

Quote from Ghandi
I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the culture of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible.

Pretty much my life... and I love it.

Next G Coverage
Telstra Next G coverage continues to impress. Using my Tu500 handset, I have been able to get on the net at high speed at various places. The latency of the network also seems very low when I get on. Very nice.

John speaks about Telstra Next G

Says it all : "Sailing" by Christopher Cross
It's not far down to paradise
At least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find tranquility
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me

It's not far to never never land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
Of innocence again
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me

Sailing
Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free

Fantasy
It gets the best of me
When I'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie
Every word is a symphony
Won't you believe me

It's not far back to sanity
At least it's not for me
And when the wind is right you can sail away
And find serenity
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me
